*You Mainly Listen To Indie And Alternative Music.

*You Don't Neccersarily Follow The Latest Fashion, But Often Read About It Anyway.

*You Read Music And Fashion Magazines Over Celebrity And Real Life.

*You Are Interested In Musicians, (And Read About Them, Often In Music Magazines)

I researched existing Student College Magazines, so that I had an idea of what sort of articles etc are put into magazines targetting the same age audience as me. I thought that the following website; (http://www.lewisham.ac.uk/college-life/college-magazines), was my main influence, as there are many different issues of the same magazine, and avoided becoming repeititive. Even though my magazine is a one-off, it gave me some understanding of what would go into magazines that are published often, whether it's weekly, fortnightly or weekly. However, these examples are College magazines only, and not music, which is important in my magazine.

This is an example of a Music College Magazine. which has also inspired me for my magazine.

Colour Scheme...



I chose these colours because my magazine is unisex, and I believe that the colours Black,Green,Red & White appeal to both; Male & Female. I also believe that it does not stereotype a particular gender, making it more appealing to both, and widening the target audience.
