Detailed Analysis; Conclusion

After looking at three different magazines from the Metal genre, I believe I have covered everything, from Hard Rock (Biffy Clyro from the Q Magazine) to heavy metal (Five Finger Death Punch from the Metal Hammer Magazine), and have realised that the three magazines have many common factors. For example;

-Magazines from this genre tend to cover more than the expected genre (regardless of having Cheryl Cole on the cover of the Q magazine, it covers heavier music such as Biffy Clyro and Them Crooked Vultures).

- Magazines from this genre tend to be aimed at both sexes, but particularlly the male sex, and between the ages of 18 and 40.

-The target audience for the magazines appear to be between C1 and E on the Jicnar scale.

- The target audience for the magazine appear to have a fairly varied set of psychographics, as it depends on their lifestyle opinions. These may include Radicals,Unerachievers, Traditionalists, Achievers and Aspirers.

- The price of magazines from this genre cost between £2-£4.

- Magazines from this genre tend to have simple colour scheme, and often use Black, White and Red.

- Magazines from this genre tend to use staged Medium Shots of their main sells for the front page, which connote a sense of violence.

- Magazines from this genre tend to include approximately 5 cover stories, included on the Front Cover, as well as the Main Sell.
